If you are reading this post because of the title then you are very new to video editing or maybe you are experienced one but struggling with the concept of video editing.
Don't mind my words but it may be true for you!

So we are living in a digital world and we have different types of video projects some require a high-end PC or some just need a smartphone. If we talk about window-based PC then we have lots of options but don't have FCP (Final cut pro).
Does FCP give you something extra that other software doesn't?
The answer to that is a simple NO!
The things you can do in FCP you also do that in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media composer too.
Don't look for the feature of the software look at which software you feel comfortable working in.
As a video editor In Every f@*king software, you have to do the same thing:
Import the footage
put it on the timeline and adjust (cut) according to your story
Add Music and SFX
put title subtitle extra
and export
So all the available editing software can do that thing even window movie maker. If someone says FCP is the best then stay away from that rich f@cker if you are not a rich f@uker.
Caution: I'm not saying FCP is not good it is good but not the best!
Every software has a feature that others don't have so you really need that feature to tell the story.
Not really, remember in the old days how editors edit the video.
Bonus
If you are learning a new video editing software first learn about its interface than the tool.
